Difference between Zirconia & Crystals
Zirconia has about a 33% higher refraction index than crystals and is comparable to the refraction index of high-quality diamonds. crystals are also made to offer an impressive brilliance and sparkle thanks to their special coating but they are not quite on the zirconia's level.
Crystals are cheaper than cubic zirconia. This is due to the complicated manufacturing process and materials used in CZ. It's also worth noting that CZ is more durable than Crystals and can be cut with more facets, offering a better light refraction than crystals.
A crystal is typically a hardness scale of 6 whereas a cubic zirconia ranges from an 8 to 9.
